I like this, with the moody lighting. The shadows are too hard and too dark, though. Large shadow maps with smooth, feathered edges similar to the falloff for the spotlight would work better. And the brass isn't very metallic, but that's a surface tweak. Good! Good to see a new post.

I though so too about the lighting, probably little dark detail will make the image better but at that time the exposure setting is already too alienated that the brass surface that should be dark grey shows as white instead And the map's surface should be much darker than that, I've to adjust the material's color just to match the render look. If I try to change settings, the look will change to either washed-color or too bright or too dark... I actually want to put some rust at the brass, but no time XDDD 2 hours sure is fast Hope I can do more 3D after my thesis is done, my skill is getting really rusty =.= Anyway, thanks for your input! I'll probably come back to this later to fix the material and lighting
